The account

What this actually involves

A migration done badly costs more than the years of bad bookkeeping that prompted it. Balances arrive without history, the chart of accounts is imported wholesale including the sixty accounts nobody has touched since 2019, and comparability is destroyed exactly when you need it.

We design the chart of accounts first — around how you actually want to read the business — then migrate into it, carrying history and reconciling old system to new before the switch is called complete. VAT history matters here: a migration that breaks the VAT control account creates a problem that surfaces at the worst possible moment.

We work natively in Sage Business Cloud, Sage Pastel Partner, Xero, QuickBooks Online and Zoho Books, and we will tell you plainly which one suits your trade rather than the one we happen to prefer.

Integrations follow: Yoco, PayFast, Ozow, SnapScan, Shopify, WooCommerce, Takealot, Dext and SimplePay or PaySpace for payroll — each mapped deliberately rather than connected and hoped for.
